The Stirring in Your Spirit: Answering God’s Call
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they
shall be filled." — Matthew 5:6
Do you ever find yourself sitting quietly, feeling a deep, persistent
yearning to do more for the Kingdom of God? Does your heart long to
make a greater impact, even if you aren’t entirely sure what that
looks like yet?
If you are experiencing that inner pull, take heart: that desire was
placed into your spirit by the Lord Himself.
Right now, He is stirring up your spirit man. God does not plant holy
discontent without a purpose. There is a specific, unique assignment
for you on this earth, designed by the Creator before time began.
Seeking the Commander
If you haven't discovered your assignment yet, do not grow
discouraged. Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep pressing into the
Lord. He promises to guide your steps right into the center of His
will.
If you are already walking in your calling, the instruction remains
the same: keep seeking Him. It is the only way to stay on track.
Remember, He is the Commander and General of the armies of heaven, and
we are at His command. Our job is not to map out the entire
battlefield; our job is simply to let Him lead us.
Look Past the Glitter
In a world obsessed with stage lights, platforms, and applause, it is
easy to mistake "big" for "meaningful." But God’s economy operates
differently.
Your assignment doesn't have to be something seemingly huge. Don't
look for the glitter and the hype. Whatever He asks you to do, just do
it—no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to the world. If
the King of Kings asked you to do it, it holds infinite value in His
sight. Faithful obedience in the secret place moves the heart of God
far more than public recognition.
As the Scripture reminds us:
"For who has despised the day of small things?" — Zechariah 4:10
🗓️ This Month’s Study Plan,
To help you cultivate this stirring in your spirit, we are spending
the next four weeks diving into what it means to be a faithful
servant. Use these weekly focuses for your personal quiet time and
meditation:
Week 1: Matthew 25:14-30 - The Parable of the Talents
Focus: Examining what God has entrusted to our hands and choosing
boldness over fear. Are we multiplying our gifts or hiding them?
Week 2: Corinthians 15:58 - Keeping Busy in the Lord
Focus: Staying actively engaged in the work of ministry and daily
obedience. Idle time breeds distraction; holy momentum breeds
breakthrough.
Week 3: Galatians 6:9 - Do Not Weary in Doing Good 🌱
Focus: Pressing through the exhaustion of the sowing season. Do not
give up, for a day is coming when you will reap a harvest if you do
not faint.
Week 4: John 9:4 - Working While It Is Day ☀️
Focus: Recognizing the urgency of the times. We must work while the
light is here, for the night comes when no man can work. Let us finish
the work of the Father.
Reflect & Pray:
Lord, thank You for the holy hunger You are stirring up inside of me.
Forgive me for the times I have looked for glitter instead of grace,
or minimized the small tasks You've given me. I submit to You today as
my General. Lead me, guide me, and give me the strength to work
faithfully for Your glory while it is still day. Amen.

Don't skip the stretch.
Are you a bit sportive or not at all ? Well whatever level you are in sports, whether professional,
casual, or not at all... Let's just go through some basics in sports. Usually it is advised to do
some stretching before you start the actual sport you want to do ; whether running, swimming,
playing tennis or what ever it is.
Well know that God often does the same thing with us. See,
sometimes we get irritated by the dealings of God, not realizing we do exactly the same thing.
Before God gets you into the field of your calling, He takes you into some stretching. You leave
your comfort zone, just as deciding to do sports takes you from your comfy bed or from that
comfy sofa. In the process of stretching He teaches you to die to yourself, meaning you don't
allow your flesh to rule over your spirit, but you let the Holy Spirit lead you and have His way in
your life.
You learn to surrender to Him. You allow your spirit to become truly one with The
Lord. Just take some time to realize how powerful this is : becoming one with God. The same
power that raised Christ from the dead residing in and with you! Hallelujah!
As awkward as this may seem, sometimes your stretching may be battling with some illness, a
long awaited prayer request, financial issues, etc. Maybe the very thing you are asking God to
change in your life is what He actually is using to change you! Nobody loves to be in difficulty
but if the Lord allows you to go through something, know that He will bring you out of it safely
and victorious! The Bible is full of true stories of victories won by the Lord for His people ! And
when you have stood fast through the process, the Lord can finally release you into the field of
your calling.
And when you get there, you will realize that everything you went through actually
prepared you for that purpose. You become meek because of the brokenness you went through
but you also become tough skinned and a true warrior of God. None of the schemes of the devil
will make you back down.
Know that you were created with a divine purpose. So be encouraged. The Lord is not crushing
you. He is stretching you. Let the Holy Spirit give you divine understanding of what you are
going through, ask Him : Is this from the Lord? If Yes, then trust Him. Yield to Him easily for the
process to be as fast as possible. But if the answer is no and is rather a spiritual opposition?
Well you know what to do Child of The Most High! Arm yourself up, and wage spiritual warfare
against the powers of darkness! (Eph. 6:10-12 ) You already have the victory through Christ
Jesus! Just go for it ! Let the Holy Spirit give you strategies. Pray Until Something Happens
(PUSH ! ).
Shhh...Listen, can you hear the Holy Spirit cheering you up? He is your cheerleader. He is for
you! You can do it! Don't skip the stretch !
With love,
Eva-Marianne
