Embrace the Journey

When we first come to the Lord, many of us experience overwhelming love, joy, and excitement. It can feel like stepping into light after living in darkness.

But for others, saying yes to Jesus is not simple at all. In some cultures or religious backgrounds, accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior can feel like signing your own death sentence. It may cost relationships, reputation, comfort, or even safety.

And yet… it is worth it.

Let me tell you this with confidence: walking with the Lord is not always easy, but it is always worth it.

Our walk with Him was never meant to be complicated. The moment we truly let go — the moment we decide to trust Him regardless of how bad things look — we step into a different realm. A realm of divine serenity and boldness at the same time.

The apostle Paul described it as “the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.”

This is not just a popular Bible verse. It is a spiritual reality. A realm. And you cannot fully understand it until you experience it.

From the outside, people may look at you and think you are disconnected from reality… maybe even a little crazy. How can you be calm in the middle of chaos? How can you smile in uncertainty?

But here is the principle:

If you want to experience inner peace and joy in your walk with the Lord, learn to tune in to His still, small voice — and allow every other loud and distracting voice to become background noise.

There is no greater peace than holding His hand and trusting Him with every step.

Life with the Lord is the adventure of a lifetime. So buckle your seatbelt and get ready for the ride.

One day, when we sit in heaven and look back at this earthly journey, we will realize what a privilege it was to walk with Him by faith. And then we will step into eternity with the One we trusted all along.

There is a song lyric I love that says:

“I know heaven will be alright… as long as You are there.”

What a beautiful hope.

But here is the good news: we do not have to wait for heaven to experience His presence.

He is here. Right now. So close.

Close your eyes for a moment. Take a deep breath.

You just breathed in His presence.

Isn’t that sweet?

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Week 1 – Mary

Read Luke 1:26-56

Mary trusted the Lord despite cultural expectations and the uncertainty surrounding her calling. Her “yes” changed history.

Read Job 42:10-17

Job endured unimaginable loss, yet he refused to curse God. He trusted that restoration was in the Lord’s hands.

Week 3 – Abraham

Read Genesis 15

Abraham trusted God’s promise even when his age made it seem impossible. Faith often stretches beyond logic.

Week 4 – David

I Samuel 17:41-58

David trusted God to deliver him — and all of Israel — from the Philistines. His confidence was not in his strength, but in God’s faithfulness.

And finally, let us remember the great “Hall of Fame of Faith” in Hebrews 11 — ordinary people who chose extraordinary trust.

This month, embrace the journey.

Trust deeply.

Walk boldly.

And tune in to the One who walks beside you every step of the way.

If only you knew

If only you knew all that I have in store for you. The riches in my glory that I secured for you when I redeemed your life. ( Philippians 4 : 19)

If only you knew the overflow of abundance I want to overwhelm you with.

If only you knew the victories I have already won for you that are yours for the take, to claim and to possess.

If you knew the cost of the price I paid for your life, you would understand the depth of my love for you. (1 Corinthians 6 : 20)

Please don't limit me when I say that I will bless you. (Isaiah 54 : 2)

Please don't doubt me when I say that I can do it, that all things are possible with me. (Genesis 18 : 14)

Please don't quench me when I ignite in you a flame, a desire to accomplish something great with you. (1 Thessalonians 5 : 19)

Please don't grieve me when I share a burden on my heart with you, a longing to bring about a change. (Ephesians 4 : 30)

Seek to know me more. I want to reveal myself to you. (John 14 : 21)

I am with you and I am in you. (Matthew 28 : 20)

Look around you and you will find me. ( Psalm 19 : 1 ; Romans 1 : 20)

Look within you and you will hear me. I am the still small voice that whispers my love to your soul. ( 1 Kings 19 : 12)

Allow me to be The I AM in your life. ( Exodus 3 : 14)
