It’s a brand-new month, and with it comes a powerful and timely topic: “Occupy Till I Come.” These are the very words of Jesus in Luke 19:13, and they carry a deep and urgent meaning for every believer.

What Does “Occupy Till I Come” Mean?

When Jesus spoke these words, He was giving us a command to stay faithful and productive with the assignments He has given us—until the day of His return. Whether your task is to complete your studies, start that business, raise a godly family, share the gospel, or build something impactful—He wants you to continue and not quit just because His return is near.

Maybe you’ve thought, “Why bother starting anything? Jesus is coming back soon anyway!” But let’s take a lesson from the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14–30. You can read the full story here, but the takeaway is simple: God expects us to be faithful stewards.

He’s not coming back for a passive church, but for a fruitful one.

Urgency in the Spirit

We don’t know how much time we have left. But Scripture and prophecy point to the truth that we are in the last days. Wars, rumours of wars, increasing knowledge, the return of the Jews to Israel, and talk of rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem—these are all prophetic markers.

Time feels short, and the Spirit is stirring us to get ready—not in fear, but in faith and obedience.

A Personal Prophetic Word: Prepare

Recently, the Lord revealed to me—twice in the same week—that challenging times are ahead, especially regarding food shortages.

He’s not saying this to scare us, but to prepare us, just as He warned Joseph in Egypt in Genesis 41.

So, please take this to the Lord in prayer. He may lead you to:

Start a garden 🌱

Store up non-perishables 🍞

Buy land if you’re able 🌾

Every instruction will be personal. No one-size-fits-all advice here. Just seek His voice, maybe even fast, and follow His lead. The Holy Spirit is our perfect guide.

Week 2: Step Out with What You Have

If God asked you to start a project—start with what you have. Don’t wait until everything is perfect.

Proverbs 3:5–6 tells us:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… He will show you which path to take.”

God meets us as we move. So take those first steps in faith. The command to Occupy Till I Come won’t come on a silver platter—it’ll require prayer, perseverance, and sometimes spiritual battle. But the reward? Eternal.

A Great Harvest is Coming

Here’s the good news: while there may be hardship, we are also about to witness the greatest revival the world has ever seen. 🙌

The harvest is coming—and we must be ready to:

• Welcome backsliders

• Embrace the redeemed

• Support new believers from all walks of life

Let’s not judge, but love—with grace and truth. Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle.

And with the influx of souls, the Lord is going to release resources to His people: facilities, equipment, aid, and provision. Get ready.

Final Encouragement

Ask the Lord:

• What have You asked me to do?

• How can I be faithful with it?

• How do You want me to prepare?

My prayer for you is that the Lord will bless you, open your eyes, and give you a willing heart to do His will. May He give you the provision for the vision, in Jesus’ name. 🙏
